Domaine de la Grosse Pierre Chiroubles ‘Aux Craz’ MAGNUM 2022

R1,210.00

The ‘Aux Craz’ is a single-vineyard Gamay from Beaujolais’ Chiroubles appellation, specifically the higher-altitude, south-facing ‘Aux Craz’ parcel known for its rocky soils and resulting mineral character.

Neal Martin, Vinous.com: “The 2022 Chiroubles Aux Craz is more backward and surly on the nose compared to the La Grosse Pierre, the fruit profile darker with light tertiary notes. The palate is well balanced with good grip and fine tension, a more structured Chiroubles with a pleasing marine element surfacing toward the sapid finish. Excellent.”
